Have you found Uncle Den in the 1939 index?

How do you know of the child?
Do you think the child knew of her father? Have you looked for him in other people's trees?

Unfortunately, without the name of the child or the name of the mother then it will be an almost impossible task. Did your uncle keep in touch with the mother? Do you know whether it was a boy or a girl?

I don't think anyone on this site will be able to help you without more information.

No one on here can access any adoption records assuming that was the case.If your Uncle was shown as the father you might be able to track down the original birth certificate.

If you know the mother’s name then you could plough through the freebmd records.

Hello out there , I was wondering if you could help me find an Illegitimate child my Uncle Den had fathered about 1930s I think Uncle Den lived in Easington Co. Durham .Can you point me in the right direction , Any help would be greatly appreciated
