Over the weekend, with my BAL falling dangerously low, I jumped in the car and rushed of to a shopping centre to purchase some 'medication'.

This shopping centre is not the closest one to us, which is only a couple of minutes walk away, but is about a ten minute drive.

I got to the Bottle Shop (Off-licence) and was about to go inside when I discovered that in my haste to avert the awful possibility of my BAL reaching zero I had forgotten to take my wallet :-(

It's a good job that I discovered that before I loaded up a trolley :-D :-D :-D

If my BAL falls, there's a local shop within walking distance - it's downhill getting there, but then, I suppose replenishing the BAL is downhill anyway. :-(

It's a 1 in 4 walk (pant) back though!
