Caroline I am sure garden centres here sell a chocolate mint plant. (as they do others, apple, pineapple etc.

I am a coffee girl. I only ever drink tea when it’s summer as I occasionally drink the ice cold fruit or mint teas then.

I haven’t drunk ‘proper’ hot tea since before Mum died. She used to enjoy a cup of tea and I could hardly disappoint her so I would do tea for two when she visited me as she did when I visited her. A small price to pay for everything she did for me. <3

That tea sounds nice, I wonder if it's like the mint growing like a weed in my garden that has a chocolate taste..

Ah you are still here I thought we had lost you again.

Will have to look out for that tea then

Twinings have another new tea, Dark Mint, tastes a bit like after eight mints, worth a try

The Dark Caramel tea is Twinings, Liz. I get it direct from Twinings but I think Waitrose do it.

Where do you get the caramel tea please? It sounds interesting. My partner only drinks herbal teas now.

I don't normally have sugar in my tea Names, but until recently one of my favourite drinks was the Nescafe cappuccino or a Double Mocha Chocha. I have just been diagnosed pre diabetic so was looking for drinks with less carbs, so have been experimenting with teas and cold infusions

I might have been tempted Vera, but they didn't have them in stock :-)

I am glad you are enjoying the biscuit tea KM. Will you be trying the jam and toast one?

Names, my daughter likes these teas but doesn't have a sweet tooth at all.

I still have no wish to try these on teas, although I do like some herbal and fruit teas.

But I wondered if they were very sweet and if those of you that like them usually have sugar in their tea?

Vera, I am sitting drinking my fist cup of Biscuit tea, managed to get it in Tesco this morning. Am enjoying it. Noticed they also do a Decaf Bedtime brew, with vanilla and nutmeg, must admit that doesn't appeal

Wonder if they would still be useable? They may be collectors items by now though :-)

you've reminded me I have several presentation tins of tea, by jacksons of piccadilly, given to me some twenty five years ago...but ever opened

SuffolkVera

SuffolkVera Report 4 Aug 2021 20:49

I think I'll be giving Toast and Jam tea a miss!

I dislike nearly all of the herbal/fruit teas I've tried with the possible exception of ginger and lemon and a mint one.

Kentishmaid Report 4 Aug 2021 20:12

Just noticed they do a 'Jam and Toast' one as well Vera !!!

Kentishmaid Report 4 Aug 2021 20:09

Noveltea do the alcoholic teas Ann. they are only 11% volume

Vera, I'm going to have to try the 'Biscuit tea' , will let you know what I think

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 4 Aug 2021 20:06

I like Twinings teas and enjoy a ginger tea first think these days instead of ordinary tea. I like most of them so might try the new one. Bergamot and gin sounds interesting speaking as a gin drinker. Oh well I drink whisky as well.

I'm with you Maggie. I like a strong cuppa, preferably made with loose leaf tea. Our daughter gave us "Biscuit Tea" recently. It wouldn't be polite to post what I said about it but it wasn't complimentary.
