John Cornell has died. Such a funny man with his wife Delvene and with Paul Hogan. Had a hand in World Series Cricket too.

RIP, one of the funnier men around. <3

You haven't met my old man Joy.

Sorry, never heard of John Cornell.

I have to say that my old man sounds similar to yours, Island, although he has mellowed with age.

Strop was a very bright Aussie with a keen sense of humour. He was Paul Hogan’s sidekick and was the reason for Hogan’s fame, I think. (Paul = Crocodile Dundee)

Ah.... I think Clive James was the only Aussie funny man who made it in the UK.
I had heard of Paul Hogan via Crocodile Dundee but not seen the film - we escaped that one.

He, his wife, Delvene and Paul H made for some good entertainment. I can't recall coming across anyone who did not think they were funny. They just hit the right note with the general public. <3 :-D

A great West Australian. Born in Kalgoorlie, but went to high school here in Bunbury

I read that about Bunbury, Allan. Something I was not aware of.

Fame at last in your neck of the woods eh! ;-)
