I nearly always wear jeans which I buy from a fat frocks catalogue and, for years, I have thought how much I would like to have some plain black trousers similar to the khaki chinos I made last for about ten years.

Cheap black jeans nearly always shout"Cheap black jeans!", the stitching always looks cheap and they always look like they should be worn to work by a man who badly needs a shave and a haircut!

Naturally, I ignored the cheap black jeans that turned up in the catalogue until they went into the sale at an irresistable price.

They are only my dream trousers, the ones I have dreamt of, they have black stitching, I have five pairs!

Have you actually got them or are they on order?

You'll have to think of somewhere to show off your dream purchase.

Anywhere in mind?

I have three pairs and have ordered two more.

Wore a pair over to see the doctor the other day and they went to the hospital.

This is my social life!

The last job I had,had 'dress down Friday'.
My lovely manager informed me I could wear jeans to this event.
I then pointed out that my very smart black trousers, that I wore every day (I had 3 pairs) were, in fact, black jeans!
They really did look smarter than some of the man-made fibre, 'acceptable' trousers worn.

When not at work, I'm afraid I wear jeggings, and long baggy tops.
