Thankyou for all your good wishes. It certainly has been a year i wont forget!
As the day went on, i just felt relieved and liberated from what was a difficult 28 years of my life!

So not one to dwell, I received my self assembly computer desk today and threw myself into putting together all on my own as daughter still elsewhere.

it was very heavy but its all done and Im really pleased with it.Just the black filing cabinet to arrive next week and then all the house, furniture is complete.

So yes a new start, new life and was worth the wait.

Onwards and upwards yay :-D :-D

Weirdly, my ex got his decree absolute from wife No.3, in May.
They'd been married (but not together) for about 4 years.
I should know how long they'd been married - I, (and my siblings) attended the wedding! :-D :-D

Well folks,I just received from my lawyer,my Extract Decree of Divorce.
In Scotland there isn't The Nici then Absolute just the one document.
So after nearly 4 long years,I'm finally a free woman.

Not sure how I feel as I've been separated for nearly 4 years so I don't feel any different except I can now do my own thing without looking over my shoulder.
I would celebrate,if that's the right word but I cannot have alcohol with my meds and daughter away.
However, I shall ring a couple of pals tonight and share my news.
If anyone else is contemplating divorce just now,I sincerely wish you luck.

So today is the first day of my new life...Bring it on
