Thank you for your concern. No we were not flooded out. As Belle so rightly says, we are higher up on a hill, and the rain drains away. Although the pictures on the news were really scary, especially as it went down the Tube!

I live in a terraced Victorian house And at the top we have a view over a large span of London. The window boxes are coming along nicely. Or as the nobs around here call them, floral troughs. ;-) ;-) ;-)
