It's all happening next week.

Monday is the dentist where I hope he can glue my tooth back in, otherwise I see poverty ahead.

Tuesday, I have a Covid test and. all being well, Thursday is big saw and branding iron day.

Not going to happen!

Went for all the tests and, apparently, my heart beats like the clappers all the time and I need to take something to calm me down.

Sharron, despite the sedatives I had the same problem, but they still went ahead and did the operation. The gas doctor was already aware of my anxiety as it was something that we had discussed during my visit to him prior to the operation

Hopefully only postponed for a short time.

That’s rotten. You have been doing so well lately.

What is it with these Medics. Nothing wrong with my foot - well it doesn’t look like it or feel like it. Grr.

I develop very high blood pressure whenever I'm in a doctor's office, or about to have a procedure done.

Same when I went for both my cataract operations. They just gave me a sedative, and kept close watch.

After my second mastectomy, I was to stay in hospital just overnight, the nurses on the ward couldn't get my bp down below 200, finally sent for a doctor, she gave me a sedative and left. They finally decided to send me home in the morning as planned because I would do better there.

The bp did go down, to its much more usual somewhere between125-135!

I am on medication to keep it down there, and have been for almost 20 years, but it just doesn't work at times.

It's called "white coat syndrome", even though doctors are not longer wearing white coats, at least over here.

I do hope you don't have to wait too long before they can have you back in.

To my amazement, my blood pressure, which has it's own entry i the Guinness Book of Records, was quite near normal and that is new.

It was just my heart going like a wristwatch on speed.
