I did a Tree of families in a village where my paternal ancestors came from and the number of people who have contacted me to thank me has been many :-D

I don't mind putting my Trees on Ancestry as all those have now passed away and as I have no children at least it will be there for posterity and perhaps help others :-D :-D

Thru lines - but you wouldn't believe the confusion it causes as lots believe it's a positive link to a DNA match not help to see which families are possible links due to the same people on their tree.

Ancestry have only just started sending out here :-S

With Ancestry if they have a Tree it gives the ancestors that match yours to help narrow down the connection :-D

Often Pat people don't have a Tree so you can't look to see a connection :-(
