Am just cleaning the inside of the VW as SIL wants to borrow it this week while his goes for MOT….was ashamed of it and I don’t even drive it…..only to the car wash :-D :-D

Many years ago I was cleaning the inside of our car, I couldn't drive then, I happened to look through the window and saw hubby sitting watching tv, I lost my temper instantly went indoors and through the hoover at him, I haven't cleaned any car since. :-D

No sun here today and quite chilly early on :-)

Had new washing/dryer machine installed today I
should have known better.
Nothing ever easy in my house, enough to turn one to drink. :-| ;-)

Been to hospital today for my follow up on knee operation

Managed with aid of walking stick to walk from the car park and into the hospital to the clinic area

Was rather proud of myself as have only been pottering indoors and just started to walk a small way up the road in the last few days

Indoors I can manage with no aids but pavement walking I have found dodgy as it’s uneven and several houses have drop kerbs so pavement slopes


I did find one of hubbies walking sticks that I missed clearing out and it’s a good one that’s adjustable and has a hand grip


Sooo seems I am doing well .my surgeons registrar was yes you are on track .

Knee is still very swollen and stiff in places but seems that’s a norm at this stage

Swelling is where blood collected but it turns to liquid which will be absorbed but could take up to a year

Will see me in six weeks when X-rays will also be taken

I feel very reassured after the initial time post op when all wasn’t well medically
