I don’t think I quite realised how GP surgeries actually work these days until I read about a Dr loosing their job because of long covid. |

Well I phoned the out of hours doctor and was mightily impressed, I got a phone call within two hrs, sent some photos and he prescribed antibiotics which was sent straight to my pharmacist. The whole process to collecting the meds was no longer than 3hrs :-0 |

So I phone the GP and was told that it was a half day and that there weren't any Drs there, phone back at 8 tomorrow and make an appt. She asked about the problem and gave me the out of hours Dr Tel no. :-0 |

I have a lump on my index finger about the top joint and going up to the nail which has become painful. I took it to my pharmacist who said I think you need to see your GP :-0 |
