I went to open the back car door the other day it was locked despite OH being in the

car and the front doors open. I had to wait whilst he pressed every available button

before I could open it ;-) ;-)

If you've ever seen the police forcing a new type door you'll know they are good

Fly

Fly Report 25 May 2021 19:31

Have you been rescued Von :-0

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 25 May 2021 19:31

Ah but the Locksmith was mightily impressed with the locks on my new porch doors..he told me to leave a set with next door neighbours if I trust them as they are very difficult to open and replace without a key....very expensive:-D :-D

I've also got a Chubb lock on the front door which he made sure was greased and working :-D

No, Fly.....many years ago our key snapped in the lock and I thought perhaps I should have a new one put in now I'm on my own :-)

Insurance people have been known to refuse to cover goods in burglaries as it's so easy to open the door with a Yale lock.
