When she phoned with the result I asked if it will reverse now that he is being tailed off the steroids and she said some do but she wasn't hopeful. Especially as his mother had diabetes and he's been pre-diabetic before

I don't know what they can do Von. It was his haematologist that after talking to us added on a sugar test to the blood she was testing and it came back very high.
So it's back to the non-existent GP by phone!

I've stopped letting him have his chocolates and sweets for now

We've not been too good. J has now been diagnosed with steroid induced Diabetes.
He lost half a stone in about 2 weeks :-(
