Because I no longer have a poor old man to exploit wickedly, I now have to do my own washing.

This afternoon, I came walking through the front room with an arm full of dhobiing and OH asked "Are you going to put that in the washing machine?"!

He usually does. He did all the washing when I lost the plot because there were a lot of things I just could not bring myself to do. Don't know how long it was that I could not use the kettle. He would make a cup of tea when he went to work and that was me until he came home.

Strangely, I am still a bit iffy about the washing because it is several different jobs.pick it up, get it downstairs, get it to the washing machine and my mind does go into panic because it still gets overwhelmed a bit.

I was quite proud to be carrying the washing in the first place.
