Not revenge but when I was a TSSU assistant the girl that had been there for a very long time and was good at her job had left things for me to do that I didn't know how to do, she would do a job wrong and put my name on the paper work so I was told off numerous times, I'd had lots of meetings with management, all to no avail so I handed my notice in only to be told she had already handed hers in, it late transpired that she couldn't work with me because I didn't put up with her bullying, the medical staff were pleased with me and that I was the stronger person that had ever been put with her and that they were glad she left.

In my last job we had a new CEO who was supposed to be good at charity accounting but proved to be useless so I ended up doing his work as well as my own, having taken reduced hours and a pay cut on the premise that he would take over most of my work as I came up to retiring.

I bought the domain name identical to my employer's one except in ends in "association.org" and not "association.org.uk" so one day I'll offer it to them for £10k which was about the amount of salary I lost in my last 16 months with them.

They got rid of the CEO 6 days after I retired, by the way.

I once had a work colleague who was so fed up with being bullied that they applied for another job. It was a better paid, higher profile position that they didn't think they had much chance of getting. They got the job and was so happy to be leaving especially when they found out the bully had also applied for the job but had lost out to her

JoyLouise, for other reasons my manager had to do the rounds with me so it was very sweet because he had to shake hands or explain why if he didn't want to, he the manager said I was the better person for doing it and that it was a shame I was retiring I still feel chuffed when I think of it.

Never have been able to tolerate bullies. I am lucky in not being affected by one but have witnessed someone being bullied at work and I took them to one side and said I had noticed what was happening and would speak up for them if they wanted , but they didn't as they had been looking for another job and had found a better one.
When bully found out they were quite upset as the persons new job was better than theirs. Justice I felt.

Oh ZZzzz, you are really good.

Out of everyone I worked with in both England and Oz, there were only ever two I had words with. The Oz one was German-born and was particularly nasty the one time I had anything to do with him (different departments) but my other lovely colleagues told me that he still had a chip on his shoulder - after all that time - and I was English! He was not well-liked by anyone, particularly a really nice Russian colleague - but the unprincipled, two-faced beggar signed my leaving card. I doubt whether he contributed anything to my pressie.

The one I had words with in England got quite nasty and threatened to have my car towed. He was on a hiding to nothing as I was legally parked and knew it but he never spoke to me after that. When he was leaving, I contributed nothing and did not sign his card.

One of my colleagues bullied and harassed me, a bit more to it than that, so when I retired I went round shaking hands and saying bye to all that I worked with including him, that was 2 or 3 years ago and he still spits feathers every time my name is mentioned :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
