Our daughter got married yesterday. A very low key affair :-D

It is the second marriage for both of them and was held at their house.

Most of the guests weren't even aware that the wedding was about to happen as the invites just said 'help us celebrate' without any elaboration on what the celebration was :-D

The weather was perfect, although it turned a little cool in the evening.

Hope you all enjoyed your day Alan. That would be my idea of a perfect wedding. My Son gets married this September and I'm dreading it. I'm definitely not a party person, don't like crowds (By that, I mean more than 2 people!! :-\), can't stand to be near drunks and I'd prefer to just stay home but realise I can't do that. I was pleased when covid restrictions meant only a few people could attend but that looks like changing again by September.

Future happiness to your daughter and her new husband.

Thanks, Kay :-)

I think that in total there were 36 there, mainly their friends and workmates.

The Groom's parents were there, along with his sister and OH and myself together with our son.

We do have relatives in Perth but they were not invited. Even if they had have been, they would still not have been able to attend as Perth is currently if a three day lockdown due to the virus :-(

Congrats to the happy couple, Allan <3

Hopefully OH is not so grumpy, she could have missed the wedding :-0 :-D

Thank you all for your congratulations :-)

Belle, OH would not have missed the wedding as, originally, she would have been flying out this evening. Unfortunately, as the airport is in Perth it comes under South Australia's travel restrictions and as such non essential travel is banned.

Grumpy's holiday is postponed until a date to be decided :-D
