In fact she's Grumpy!

the Perth and Peel Regions have been plunged into a three day lockdown due to a community spread of Covid.

This came into effect from midnight last night (Friday) and will finish at midnight on Monday.

No one is allowed to enter or leave the Region in that Time frame :-(

OH was due to fly out of Perth to visit South Australia. Her flight as due out at about

1830 and due in at Adelaide at about 2230.

So she now can't reach the Airport!

Which is just as well as South Australia, along with nearly all other States have imposed restrictions on people entering their States from WA . These restrictions vary from State to State, but in the case of SA they include mandatory Covid testing and isolation until a negative result is received.

It looks like all the time and effort which she put in to obtain all the necessary travel permits has been to no avail.

It also looks like my long anticipated week of peace and quiet will have to put on hold for a while :-D

Go on a Allan you are pleased really she will be home to look after you.

I'm quite capable of looking after myself, although with all the instructions that I have been given OH would dispute that.

I even asked her to leave me instructions on how to breathe

OH must have got wind of the dancing girls, Belle, as she has decided to stay home; the best laid plans of mice and men, and all that. :-D

So I'm not sure whose plans have not quite worked out.

Due to the Covid uncertainty, and the likelihood of SA introducing a fourteen day mandatory quarantine period, the holiday has been put on hold and will, all being well, take place later this year, or possibly early next year.

Fortunately, all the costs, including air fares can be transferred to the new date :-D

But can the cost of the dancing girls be transferred too, Allan?

A three-day lockdown?? That's not very long, is it? Hope it all goes well as Australia as a whole has done so well compared to many other places.

I have negotiated with Li-lo Lil and she and her ladies will have their latex buffed up for some future date ;-)
