We all know this is a bad idea but despite this plenty of people do it. Mr Owl was caught once 20 years ago drink driving. He was fined and banned and has never done it again.

Police in Londonderry couldn’t quite believe it though when they pulled over a suspected drink driver. He was asked to provide a specimen of breath for analysis which he did but the machine at the roadside wouldn’t register. They took him back to the station to get a reading on the breathalyser and he blew 180. The legal limit is 35ml (22ml in Scotland) per 100ml of breath.

Truly terrifying that he thought he could drive.
