Soap and water is very drying on the skin and water only on a wet cloth won't clean the skin deep down. But everyone's skin is different. Some have dry, oily or sensitive.
Use whatever works for you.

I don't think it is much more than water. Was always a bit amazed by those baby wipes that were advertized as having only pure water in them.

So what was so wrong with a wet cloth?

I actually just use it at night to cleanse my skin from the daily dust etc that cling to our skins.I don't wear makeup only lipstick. Its very gentle on the skin and better than soap and water.

I did read that but still wondered and probably always will now!

I had some as part of a Christmas present it is just purified water and cleansing compounds. I suppose may be useful if you wear a lot of make up which I don't.

Looks like you use it for removing make-up (I don't wear any so wouldn't need it):-

"What is in micellar water?

It's made using purified water, moisturizers like glycerin, and mild surfactants, which are compounds used for cleansing. The molecules of these mild surfactants join to form micelles, a type of spherical chemical structure that helps pull dirt and oil from the skin".

I have seen mycellar water advertized and wondered what it was but not enough to spend money finding out. i have always had my suspicions that it is scented water anyway but that you can fool all of the people.

Anyway, i was needing some weed matting and a few other things so I did an order for Wilko. While perusing the site,I noticed they had a bottle of the wondrous stuff for a quid so thought I might invest that sum in finding out.

Along came the order on the second try,you need to press 'send' and pay for it first it seems. The bottle of fertilizer, some other bottle and the mycellar water were in a plastic bag and just as well they were. The top had come off the mycellar water so I am still none the wiser and probably never will be now.

I did get my pound back though!
