The facetious comment referred to Sue being able to go anywhere - didn't it?

What??? :-S

No, she wasn't being facetious. I did a bit of googling and the average cost of a Covid test is 120 quid, and as you need one to leave the country, one at the other end before you can board the aircraft home and two after you get home, it soon mounts up. And that's per person, not to mention possible quarantine costs. :-(

I had my second Pfizer jab this morning (11 weeks and half a day after the first). So far no ill effects, not even an arm ache.

I hope she was as having two jabs does not give 100% protection.

How will you know it's 'taken' Sue? You still have to be careful, you could become a carrier if you 'go anywhere' :-0

600 quid for a test to go abroad......

or were you being facetious? ;-)

Elizabeth you can download the Yellow Card App which lists all the reported (suspected) side effects of each vaccine.

There are reports of inner ear disorders, vertigo etc for both vaccines. I hope you feel better soon. <3

Had second jab Sunday but today Thursday woke up with severe dizziness (now much improving). Is this a possible vaccine side effect?

Interesting viewing, Caroline, thank you.

My boffin brother has always said one's as good as the other ... and any is better than none!

Slightly off-topic but this is very interesting, sorry it's a YouTube clip for those that don't like YouTube...about the efficacy rate and why you shouldn't compare them.

I had the AZ one yesterday and woke up this morning with a sore arm and aching back. Felt like the start of 'flu'. Bit of a headache too. Feeling a bit better now after OH made me a lovely coffee!

JoyLouise Report 17 Mar 2021 10:56

You're right, I think all GPs would recommend the vaccine for all.

Sorry names, I just can't recall whether it was a newspaper, a medical site or a site such as the BLF or BHF. Sometimes I note items of interest but if I did so, I can't find my notes.

Put me off - no way.

I,m only mildly asthmatic and I had a GP led jab so that would have been checked.
