Had my vaccine today

Apart from being glad I wasn't driving (I can't drive, but even if I could, I wouldn't have), and a pain on my forehead when the sun shone on it, I appear to have un documented side effects.
Had slight dizziness in the car, and was hungry (I'd only had my breakfast about 2 hours before), so decided to just 'go with the flow' when I got home, which was at 11:45.
I ate a tin of anchovies, then 2 salted caramel bars, and 2 cups of tea.
Then I wanted to sleep

I was woken by my phone ringing. Not a good idea.
Apparently. I'd insured my very old kitchen appliances - and this insurance was up for renewal!
He quoted my (old) address - 'Wrong' I said, I've moved.
He wanted my new address - I wouldn't give it to him, as I'd never insured my kitchen appliances, he'd woken me up and he could, quite frankly 'go away'.

I was about to put the phone down when he said he would cancel the insurance.
'Good' I said, 'And you won't need any bank details to do that, because if you were a genuine firm and not a load of scammers, you'd already have my bank details, wouldn't you?'

Then had 3 cups of tea on the trot.

Anyway, daughter called to see how I was - apparently, I'm sounding, and showing symptoms of being stoned! :-D :-D :-D
That's not on the list of effects :-S :-S :-S

Are you sure that they injected the right stuff? :-D

You're right, Sylvia. I never felt like that.

Spill the beans, Maggie. :-D

I can't say how I'll feel tomorrow, but today - I felt I didn't give a whatsit. :-D

Which vaccine was this, Maggie?

I don't know of anyone who has had those symptoms, but daughter did say a couple of her work colleagues felt like they had a huge hangover.

It was AstraZeneca.
I had trouble falling asleep last night - but I had slept for a couple of hours yesterday afternoon.
I also had a 'dispute' with the cats just before I went to bed.
They wanted to go out, but with no cat flap, I wasn't prepared to wait up until they decided to come back in.
I've never seen/noticed them sulk so much, or so blatantly.
I had tears in my eyes from laughing :-D :-D

Maggie, my son had the same hungry feeling after having his vaccine. :-)

Will he eat up all those frogs legs that are going to rain down on us?

How are you feeling today Maggiewinchester? I had my vaccine yesterday also and felt fine but today I felt like I'd been hit by a bus. absolutely no energy, couldn't raise my arm, a headache and went back to bed and slept for 5 hours!! Haven't wanted to eat at all. Had the Oxford one also. Gawd,I hope the reaction isn't the same after the second dose!!!

AnnMarie - was your son also very happy? :-D :-D :-D

Kay, I'm fine today - just a little tired, but after my sleep yesterday, I was still awake at 2am!
I also had to phone my internet provider, as I received a credit for February, when I didn't have the internet, but my bill for March was higher than it should have been.
I was told it was higher, because I didn't pay in February, and I owed them the 'credit! :-S :-S :-S
So, I had to email them, when what I really wanted to do was go to bed!
I think, in future, I'm going to inform all utility companies, internet providers, etc, that I charge £20 an hour admin - and that includes waiting for someone to answer to the phone!

My arm's okay. When I touch the injection spot, it just feels like someone's punched it. I haven't looked at it, as I have no mirrors up at the moment!
