Ah! Hence the Alp!

I gather you are in almost complete lockdown. I know someone who is heavily pregnant and neither Granny will be allowed in to help. At least lockdown means hubby is home too.

A handful of my coffee pals here in the UK have had both jabs but they got their first ones early in December as they're over 80.

It will be eleven or twelve weeks between my first and second jab - according to my doc who administered the first one over two weeks ago. It doesn't concern me as I expect my body to begin to build up its own stronger resistance before my second jab and, anyway, they may have tweaked the vaccine to be more effective against a variety of strains by the time that date comes round.

Where is here?

Most of us Brits are having to wait about 12 weeks for the second jab.

Good news Mr M
I had my second dose of Pfizer this morning
3 weeks after the first, I guess it's one of the benefits
of living here.
How long do people have to wait for the second jabs?

Hubby and I had the Pfizer on 30th Jan. We both had a very heavy arm that day and the next but no other side effects. Our own GP did it a bigger Health Centre as our surgery is very small.
