Has anyone had a bad reaction? I had my jab yesterday and last night I was shivering and shaking, headache, nausea, it was really bad. Not too bad today, and hopefully fully recovered tomorrow.

I’ve had my letter and am anxiously waiting for my phone call.

OH had his on Saturday and felt shattered for a few days. He is just about ready to resume his long walks.

I felt so groggy overnight that I got up at 2am to have a hot coffee.

That settled my stomach.

My friend (47) had his today. Arm a little sensitive around the injection site but otherwise he’s fine.

My husband had the AstraZeneca on Saturday. He was very poorly with a bad headache, freezing cold especially hands and feet and he slept the rest of the day, the night and most of the next day. But then he has very serious health issues.

He's much better now thankfully

BrianW Report 9 Feb 2021 20:46

I had no reaction other than a sensitive spot where the injection went in.

OH had an arm that felt as if a lead weight was on it, sore injection site and a headache.

Both Pfizer.

OH and I both had the Oxford jab. No reaction at all for either of us.

I have a sore arm, it is fine during the day, just annoying at night when I turn over in bed. I usually get a sore arm with the flu jab as well.
My OH has a sore arm as well. He felt very tired and achey the day after, he even spent the afternoon in bed listening to the radio, but was fine the next day. All very minor stuff and worth it for the protection

My sister in law got hers the same day and has felt really ill since then, but she has all manner of health problems and is constantly ill, so I am not surprised.
We all had the AZ one

I had the Oxford one
Felt ok the day it was done but for two days after felt off!

Was headachy and had bouts of nausea and no energy

The second day too had an achy arm at the injection site that was only felt when moving the arm

Wasn’t too bad a reaction though and by day 3 was ok

headache only.

Sue Report 10 Feb 2021 14:25

I had the Oxford one. Felt fine for the first 12 hours, then felt achy , headache and tired. It lasted a couple of days.

From what i have read it seems headaches are more common in the Astra Zeneca.

I hope all these symptoms are being reported. I have been reporting on the Zoe Covid site for nearly a year now and fortunately haven't had any symptoms to report.

SuffolkVera Report 10 Feb 2021 19:54

OH had an achey arm for about 24 hours and my arm ached for a few days and felt “heavy”, but no other problems. We both had Pfizer.
