I'm not surprised, Piers. Comparing deaths per head of population I think we are in the same league or even slightly worse than the US.

How awful Piers....considering NY is at 43,000 and going up everyday...they need to
Look in their own backyard...given their pop is only 18m :-(

There is that Belle....and that is a huge advantage....but I think if Britain had been more strict on flights coming in and quarantine procedures etc......I mean they are still debating about the quarantine hotels now.

That said apparently it spread rapidly after the February have term when people returned from skiing holidays :-( :-(

I often wonder...we being an Island if we should have done what New Zealand did and stop all flights etc....would we have been in a better place :-(

Good, Von. I have just watched the first episode and I thought it was good.

Ann, set in period and the focus is on debs seeking 'suitable' husbands ..... but a bit more to it. It's on Netflix.

If you have not watched Tin Star, I really enjoyed it. The first series was good, the second palled just a tad but still held the i terest but the third series was fab - might have something to do with being set in Liverpool and I was able to pick out some of the places I had been to and enjoyed.
