No wonder they employ nannies, cooks and dog walkers - even that is beyond their capabilities.

For what it's worth here in Oz the governing body of cricket, Cricket Australia, is demanding that the Australian national cricket team heading over to South Africa later this year be given the vaccine as a matter of priority, because they come under the heading of 'National, or International importance'

The Government priority for the vaccine, when it is received, is front line health workers, aged care health workers and aged people.

Obviously the request went down like a lead balloon :-D

A bit like some of the tennis players over here for the Australian open who are now in 'hard' quarantine, having been in contact with active cases. They are complaining that they were never told that would happen and that if they had known they would never have come over here

The reported $100,000 fee that they would all receive just for appearing was never a factor :-D

Browsing through various newspapers this morning, I'm not sure whether it's the world, the Government, or me who's a bit whaaaat!

After 5,861,351 people have received the first vaccine, and 452,301 people have received the second, we were told - yesterday - that people should stay at home for 3 weeks after receiving the first dose.
It would have been handy to have had that information a dew weeks ago!

The vaccine tests recommend a gap of 3 weeks between doses for maximum benefit.
The government is suggesting 12 weeks, so more can receive the first dose.
Yes, much better to have more people vaccinated with a vaccine that may not work, due to the gap, (also wasting a few £billion) than have half the number properly vaccinated! :-S :-S I was also told, with medication you should follow the instructions on the leaflet.

In the Daily Mail this morning, apparently "BBC lockdown home-schooling programme tells 9-year-olds there are 'over 100 genders' and shows kids talking to adults about 'bi-gender', 'genderqueer' and 'pansexual' identities"

What's wrong with the old 'Not everyone's the same', or 'Everyone's different'? That covers everything, from sexuality, to food likes/dislikes, clothes, animals, toys, the way you hold a pen etc etc.

This one - also from the Daily Mail - made me laugh/cry/sigh:
"Boris Johnson will 'force travellers from high-risk Covid countries to quarantine in hotels for ten days' in decision to be taken on Monday"

That's Boris Johnson, PM of the country - an island - with one of the highest number of deaths in the world from Covid - therefore a 'high risk' Covid country - decides a year after most sensible countries closed their borders, that he will think about doing it, over the weekend.
The cynic in me, is thinking he'll be contacting his 'chums' to see how they can make money out of it.
