We have idiots here who are openly posting on the town Facebook page that they have no intention of following the rules and are going to have parties tonight. I would be perfectly happy if they caught it, but sadly, they will be fine and it will be their older relatives who suffer. :-| :-|

of Covidiots 2020.

Local news this morning ........

Young man, age 24, kept having parties in his condo in downtown Vancouver, police called many times beginning in September, gave him about 11 tickets for not obeying covid rules, including 2 for $2,300 each, he stated openly he would not stop having get-togethers.

Police were called again on Christmas Day, he refused to let them in at first, then did so. Said again he would not stop. Police arrested him, took him to jail, and kept him overnight. Released on Boxing Day with a bail recognisance and several warnings, including not having more than 2 other persons in his condo and had to open the door to police.

He's posted on social media that he will continue.

His activities have been reported to police multiple times on each occasion ....... as many as a dozen phone calls each time.

Under the covid rules, we are limited to the number of people we can meet with ............ a family can have no more than 6 other people in their house, and those people must be from only one other household bubble, have been within our bubble, and keep social distancing.

A single person can have 2 other singles visiting as long as they have all been in the same bubble and maintain social distancing.
