Thinking of all those affected, such a dreadful year for so many xx

I've lost a good friend and close family member this year (not from Covid, but both died in hospital). My Mum went into a care home a few weeks ago and one of the staff just tested positive, so they've stopped the (limited) visiting.

It is a horrible time, especially for those directly.

Hope he recovers well.

It is indeed a sad world. I hope your son recovers quickly and fully from this awful virus.
Positive thoughts to you all. <3

Oh AnnMarie, that is sad, your poor son and his wife too must be so worried and I know what it is like with no visiting. My OH too is in hospital, has been for 7 weeks now, he was taken in because of a UTI and falling and caught Covid while in there. A week ago he tested negative and was moved to a community hospital but is back in the main hospital now with another UTI and apparently (I was told by Test and Trace NHS this morning, he tested positive again on the 27th.

It is appalling that people are catching the virus in a place they should be safe. I hope that you hear good news of your son soon.

Worst day of my life.

Our son who has asthma has been taken to hospital with covid and a suspected pulmenory embolism.

He and his wife have been poorly over Christmas with what they thought was the flu. He had a covid test just before Christmas and was all clear.

Our nephew was taken to hospital with a UTI in late November and caught covid while in there and sadly died.

I feel so sad and heartbroken that I cant be there with his little family as oh is very vunerable and has been told to isolate again.

What a sad world it is at the moment. :-(
