Shirley~I,m getting the hang of it Report 28 Dec 2020 19:54

Last year my granddaughter bought me an automatic pet feeder so I could set up two days feed for the cat

Tbh I forgot I had it but on reminding I set it up so Mr Tibbs could have food for a couple of days with granddaughter also coming in to feed him

Left lots of food anyway and bowls of water and fresh tray of wood pellet litter

He was ok .

He made a fuss when I got home today and has gone walkabout several times since I got home

He hadn’t eaten all that was left so was ok

I really don’t like leaving him on his own but sometimes it’s not possible to do anything else

Usually he goes into a cattery but wasn’t possible this time

He has gone walkabout now ,guessing making sure his territory is still there !

I hope you had a good Christmas with your daughter Shirley. Cats!!! Mine are the same. We left Meg and Mog in the flat earlier this year and went to Llanberis in the motor home. My mum and Mr Owls (step) dad took it turns to visit them.

They started with scenting us when we got back and then went outside to make sure no strange cats had moved into their territory and remarked everything.

We used to leave our cat in the house with our neighbour visiting and feeding her. sometimes it is preferable to putting them in the cattery, at least they feel safe at home. Hope you had a good Christmas with your daughter.
