According to the NHS website, cold germs can live on surfaces for up to 24 hours.

Same here.

I havnt been out nor has hubby and I had an awful cold last week.

I sanitizer everything that comes into the house so where did it come from, the little begger. lol. :-(

Definitely not worth the risk!
I have had a cough for ages - linked to breathlessness, not Covid - my sense of smell is incredible. If Betty has a poo in the kitchen,in the wee small hours, the smell wakes me up :-| My bedroom is as far away from the kitchen as it could be!
But, on the odd day I go shopping, (with a mask on), the coughing keeps people away!

He has gone off to do a PRS job in a pub and I was going to go with him, got the good stuff o and everything!

Then I thought I might start coughing again and they would be suspicious, have to deep clean, tell the company and I am not even their employee anymore. Not worth the risk!

I have been nowhere, seen nobody and yet I have a cold. OH has only been to Aldi and taken all the Covid precautions.

So, where did it come from?

If a cold can nip in like that what chance do we have against Covid?
