Misty and damp here all day and now that it's dark it is very, very cold outside. :-(

Been watching some Christmas song programme on the music channel over the weekend to try to make the house feel more "Christmassy". It hasn't really worked :-( I'm waiting for "Miracle on 34th Street" to be on somewhere as it's one of the few films that I like.

Cold and foggy all day in Essex but no frost, just above freezing.

Looked at Gridwatch and wind and solar output is very, very low, coal fired stations have been fired up and gas is providing over half the power output.
Not good for CO2 reduction targets !!

Wading through a mountain of paperwork at the moment ..... fed up as it is going to take hours, maybe days to sort if I don't get my act into gear.

I ought not to have been sleepwalking through this year but, what the heck, it's only for the benefit of OH and me - unless we leave it for the kids to sort through eventually.

OH sorting out the shed so I think I have the warmest job.
