Bobtanian, I am a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to anything technical. I pride myself that at 74 I can do a lot of things on my computor but am always worried about viruses and hackers etc. It wasnt explained to me that windows 10 had its own virus protection if that is so.

Dosnt take much to confuse me lol.

I think that we have been brainwashed into a MUST HAVE extra protection, over the years, and its difficult letting our third party virus protection go.....I have to admit that I fall into that category.... my old toshiba satellite pro is like walking through treacle at times....having paid for AVG, I just dont know how to uninstall it!!

The free version of AVG goes in for pay now pop ups but by ignoring them you are not at risk. If you are running Windows 10 built in Microsoft protection is fine, 3rd party apps such as AVG Norton not required.

Has anyone got the free AVG anti virus for their computor.
Ive got this and they keep popping up things that say I am at risk of this and that if I dont subscribe.
Anyone else get this with them please.
