Our doctors' surgery is now operating via the NHS online service. OH and I sent the completed forms to the doc last week and we have got our details so earlier today we 'joined up' to the service.

It ought to make things easier but time will tell.

Our local chemist is still dropping OH's regular prescription orders on our doorstep without our asking so it is an excellent service for which we are very grateful.

Ann - thank you for mentioning prescriptions. I always get mine on a Monday morning but yesterday they weren't in when I called at the chemist.

Someone (I hope not me) is going to have to venture out again today to pick them up.
