That's the trouble with the different sites. Different ways of reading the same information I suppose.

I have found the Ancestry always underestimates the relationships

I'd written in the notes that the sell by date had to be at least 3 days or get me an alternative ...did the picker read it :-|

thank you Jem.

Yes the lady is a relation of mine and asked if my uncle was her father as he had the right name. One of my cousin's had his DNA on Ancestry proving we were too far away for it to be my uncle. Another family looked possible but this weekend the DNA results proved that family was the same distance as us :-( Back to searching for a John born 1900-1925 related to my 4th gt grandfather as that was were wwe thought we could meet

Today the lady appeared as a high link to me on GEDmatch. Looking on her page I saw the name Cater and the Cater lady also links to me. DNA mapping puts her in my Cater range so she could be a Cater. If so it means the lady' father is not so distant as my gt gt grandmother was a Cater so we only have to go as far as my gt gt grandparents to find the link

I hate that Belle. I like a long date on my stuff.
I bought a box of Kipling Fondant Fancies all with white icing last week. When we'd nearly finished them I realised the date had expired a few days before we had them :-|
