Von I did it, in less than an hour I had my mother's paternal line from my grandfather to my 4th gt grandfather born about 1777 - that was 2005 when I first started - haven't been able to find a baptism to get any further back :-S |

Years ago, we didn't have the genealogy sites to help us like we do now. When my mother was alive I didn't have a computer, and even if I did, I wouldn't have had a clue how to use it :-D |

That is very true Pat. We know what they've done for the celebrities but others may not. My theory is that they investigate a celeb to see if there is anything interesting in their Family History before they approach the person with the offer of the programme. |
