Liz weused to say up the wooden hill to Bedfordshire when I lived in London :-D never knowing that one day I would do just that , I live in Bedfordhsire now :-D

How about "a sandwich short of a picnic!".

Another one is an ambulance driver who said " I like to do 15 minutes of work and have a two hour tea break".

I am still trying to work that out. :-S

Up the stairs to Bedfordshire - I thought it was because Dad came from Biuckinghamshire, close to Beds.
