They've taken over my mantle piece already. First it was George - now it's Betty.
Had to move almost everything off, and I can't light the fire :-(

After the mantle piece, George has decided one the shoe shelves in my bedroom, is the 'bestest' night time sleeping place ever.
If I DARE to put my shoes back, I can guarantee to be woken, with a start, in the small hours by the sound of footwear hitting the wooden floor, as George claims his space
:-( :-(

They were much better behaved when they were younger.

Nearly enough for a month!! :-D :-D :-D :-D

Edit: I didn't want to make too big a cut in the top - in case it fell over :-S
It's too big at the moment, to fit in a cupboard, so is on the worktop.

Though not a regular 'habit' with my cats, Betty has, for the first time, found the worktop, knows its a 'no-no', and will no doubt be utilising this 'power' occasionally in the future, and a huge bag of 'stuff' is just her sort of target :-|

Hook it out with a jug.

Think how much you could have brought home in a 40ft trailer!

As one of those 'disgusting' people who still takes sugar in tea and coffee - though I do have a slight element of 'class' - white sugar in tea, brown in coffee.
When I was last in a supermarket, with a car to take me home, there were 5kg bags of white sugar in plastic bags - possibly for the jam makers.
These bags were £3.15 - which equates to 63p a kg. A 1kg of the same white sugar is 65p, so, a saving of 2p a kg - but it also meant I wouldn't have to lug sugar home in my rucksack, with the possibility of the papers splitting. I bought it.

This morning, I had the unenviable task of lifting the bag, and pouring some into my sugar container. :-S
It will get easier, with time.

I have had an advert pop up on Face Book from Whitworths who are evidently looking for business.

Looking through it, I was wondering if it would be worth going to them instead of Bookers for things I usually get in bulk.

Then I saw the small print. Premises must be suitable for a 40ft trailer to deliver! No, I am not having the road blocked for a bag of currants!
