Sharron, if he owned the New Beach Holiday Camp, then yes, altho I never realised it until now. Summer 1968 it was! Wish I had gone back a second time but I let a man get in the way!

When we were being 'educated' about death in our RE classes. the teachers always tended to speak in distant terms, focusing on ritual, tradition & even administration after the event.

What was not mentioned very much included how it feels to experience the death of a loved one or how to deal with the inevitable sadness. Family death is deeply personal.

Very sad when I read that the other day. They lived near Bracklesham Bay I think?
It's tragic to lose a child of any age.

Very sad to read the awful news that the son of Nicholas Lyndhurst ha died at the age of 19.
