For other reasons I don’t go to Tesco, and it’s all about £ signs which is understandable but at the same time people should be told that they are responsible for others becoming ill and dying because of their arrogance.

You can have all the distancing, lockdowns, curfews backed up by TTI you like and it won't stop the C-19 virus. Younger people are more aware of this especially if they have rent/mortgage to pay and kids. There is no longer any folk memory of the tough days post ww2 so selling rule of six is a very tough ask.

Although nobody really knows why this type of virus tends to attenuate after the initial attack. That is what happened with SARS. Quite possibly most of those likely to shuffle off the mortal coil have already done so while care techniques are far better. Note that despite large numbers of new cases detected hospitalisation/death are far from rising commensurately.

Nevertheless Johnson is in a fix.
He has unleashed the super spreaders - kids and students - but needs businesses to get back to work and paying tax. The virus likes the damp and cold. The Indian Summer won't last for long.

Meanwhile a vaccine in useful quantities is at least a year away and brexit is reaching its denouement. If the govt goes on failing with both then the coming winter will not be a pretty picture.

Just been Tesco perivale liads people not wearing a mask..no social distance..only two checkout open. Self checkout extremely busy. A disgrace. Will not be going back..need to get act together. People's lives at risk. Security taken no notice. I saw no cleaning or sanitize at entrance.
