The right bee thing?

OH drew my atrention to a bee that had settled on the side of our back doorstep out of the sun yesterday and had not moved. He thought it was the same one that had spent a day on another step a couple of days ago.

Very slowly it crawled down and onto the patio where it was in the sun.

I put down a mix of sugar and water for it which it seemed to drink and it seems to have livened up, crawling quicker, spreading its wings but still not flying. Its six legs are intact as are its wings.

Has it lost its 'sonar'powers?

I have no idea how else to help it but before I check online are there any bee afficionados on Genes who can point me in the right direction?
