Need to be careful as more than one George Abell or variant married an Ann/Anna/Hannah in that time period.

This George and Ann married at Hinckley in 1815, so may be responsible for some of the baptisms there, that have been posted above.:

Have you located Anna and William on later census

As you know she took up with him you must have found them together somewhere


Plus if George and Anna married 1808 it’s highly likely they had more children before the ones you have picked up

My ancestors George Abell 1780 -1843 & Anna Sturgess 1787 -1860. marreid 14 Sept 1808 Leicester as far as I know the had Johm 1826 & Joseph 1829, George Abell Died in The Union Workhouse Leicester; Did they have any more children ? When George died , Anna took up with a William Williamson; born 1805, I would like to Know what happend to these Two ? and where did he come from ?
