Good news about Mersey <3

Much needed rain fell by the bucket load last night but it is cooler outside and comfortable in the house.

We had moved some books in case of flooding but they need dusting now

3 people in the car that spun went to hospital in ambulances - OH doesn't think they are badly hurt, just in need of treatment, the taxi's passenger was an elderly local lady who's very shaken and cut her hand. OH thinks the car that spun could be a write off. Taxi driver was shaking - so he should but it might be fear of what the police will charge him with. OH's shaken but Priya found an injury on OH's right big toe - it had dried blood on it - heaven knows how that happened. :-S

Out here you have to call out the police, even for a slight bump, and assessors come out straight away as well.

Taxi driver drove into 2 cars as they slowed to a stop for a dog on the road. Hit the first car and spun it around and then the taxi went into a back quarter of the other car. I now have a very shaken OH drinking tea just back from the garage with a hire car as our new car was the second one hit :-| :-| :-| :-|
