Both my grandsons - sons of the breast counsellor - went through a phase of 'feeding' their toy bears when they were toddlers!
The elder, as he'd seen his mum feeding his little brother, the younger, as he'd seen his aunt (my other daughter) feeding his cousin. :-D :-D
It was very sweet, and both boys (now 11 and 9) are very caring. <3

And it's free - another great benefit.

It certainly is good news, Ann.
Not only is breasfeeding best, and, more convenient, but during the pandemic, you're not touching containers that have been handled by others - and in March there was a shortage of baby formula.

Once women realise that, by relaxing, and realising a baby doesn't understand the concept of time, or jobs, breastfeeding for most is much easier, they'll hand the information on to the next generation.
Nothing better than sitting on the sofa, watching TV, and feeding the baby whenever :-D

I do hope it makes people rethink their values.

Good news and I suppose not surprising when you think about it. No hurrying the feed because Mum has to be somewhere and maybe more are breastfeeding for the convenience.

Apparently, since the lockdown, the number of babies in Hampshire that are back to birthweight by day 5 is at an all time high.
The reason? They think it's because of the lockdown.
Women aren't being interrupted by constant visitors, they have nothing else to do, so are establishing breastfeeding properly - just chilling with their baby. :-D :-D
