Great, Florence. :-D

Saw on telly that oil prices were giving oil companies negative returns, ie more to produce at the moment.

This was mentioned while waiting for Trump to appear. He must be apoplectic at the moment because he'll have his oil-mates on his back.

By the way, I hope your recovery continues apace. <3

I have an oil tank which takes 500 litres of Keresene, domestic heating oil. Before the vrus took hold and the economy went down hill, the price per litre was around 50p.
In march I was very low on oil so ordered 500 litres at the price then of 51.95p.That cost me £272.74 inc VAT.
Today I thought I would tel the company to see if the price had come down at all.
Imagine my delight to be told its now 33.95p per litre!!!

I decided to order another 500 litres and the price £178.00. This means my oil will last through now until the Autumn at the very least.

So to those of you who also use oil for heating, give your local company a ring and check out the price. If you can get a similar amount to me and can afford to fill the tank, you would get another 5p a litre off the price.

So a real positive amongst all the negatives.

Florence in the hebrides :-)
