The Salute has been cancelled at The Queen's request. The Flypast is in June on her Official Birthday, when Trooping the Colour takes place :-)

And mine too, Pat, for more than six years, through a different hierarchy from yours, of course. I get the feeling your employment in her service was longer, but I'm sorry I don't remember.

It's a shame our Queen will have no birthday party but there will be several people like that at the moment. One never knows, she may like the peace and quiet of being able to slop around all day in her jammies if she feels like it! :-D ;-)

To my ex boss Happy Birthday Ma'am, 94 today :-D

Like so many, no family get together on her birthday, proving this virus can hit everyone.

Also remembering the health and emergency service workers, the shop people and drivers delivering the produce to the shops, the forces out in number again and always there in an emergency and anyone else having to work.

To the covidiots - grow up and realise you could be responsible for lock down carrying on for months with all it entails.
