Daughter sleeps in a flat roof extension of our house.

She says it sounds as if the seagulls have clogs on, at this time of year, when they go foraging for moss off the roof, as soon as it's light.

We had Woodie wood pecker hammering the tree close to our bedroom window in a previous home Sharron :-0
Then came the whirring babies and the rattling magpies :-0 :-0
Two years running!
We bought ear plugs, they only softened the racket though.

Small price to pay for nature on your doorstep - *said through gritted teeth*

I am wondering if wildlife might be watching us as much as we are watching them.

At 6.30 this morning, I had to do a bit of perambulating. The window are open and it is very, very quiet outside but I can evidently be glimpsed moving from room to bathroom because it was evidently the cue to get the tool-bag out for the day.

Once comfortably back in bed, well it is a log day anyway and there is only so much tea you can drink, i was just drifting back to sleep and off he went. Yes, Woody Woodpecker had his little hammer drill fired up and, every time I started to drift, he gave it a blast.

OH wouldn't get up and chase it away for me either.

I'll be making one of them go 'oo oo oo ha ha' if it happens again.
