These people are idiots risking their own lives but also putting strain on rescue services .?

Cramond Island is about a mile off the mainland at Cramond beach and is accessible only at low tide. It has some interesting ruins from both world wars but is uninhabited. Although there is a sign at the beginning of the walk way giving the times of the tides the lifeboats still end up being called out several times a year to rescue people who have misjudged the tide and are stuck on the island.

Despite the lockdown four people decided to visit the island at the weekend and yet again either misjudged the tide or lost track of time and the lifeboat had to be called out from South Queensferry to rescue them. Sadly all they got was fined for risking who knows how many lives at risk???? When will they learn?
