Decorating with cats!

During the lovely weather, the cats, Betty and George, 14 in July, have decided outside is the place to be - even Betty, who hasn't been further than the back doorstep for 2 years - she's also 'given up' her litter tray :-D

So, I have decided to use up paint I have, that is taking up too much room in the cupboard under the stairs.
I've re-painted the kitchen, using the same stuff it was previously painted in.
Now, I'm attacking the living room.
The main paint I have is white - so white the living room will be.

Betty came in whilst I was prepping. After walking under the protective plastic I had just put over the furniture and floor, she climbed up the stepladder that I had leaned against a door frame. I was having a cuppa at the time, and had my back to the room, as I was on my PC.
Suddenly, I heard a very plaintive 'meow' - then another one......
I looked around, and couldn't see Betty, so stood up, moved the door - only to realise she was on top of it!
Betty hates being picked up, so rather than use the stepladder and get her down,
I bent over, and encouraged her to jump on my back - something she (annoyingly) normally does every time I bend over - but she jumped back on the stepladder.

I had another cuppa.....
Then George, her brother came in. He's all black.
He stuck his nose around the door and walked out.
Next time I saw him, he had a streak of white paint down him! :-S
Not sure how he acquired it, but I suppose it was inevitable :-(

How many cats does it take to decorate a room?

It depends how thinly you slice them :-D

And before the howls, or meows, of outrage commence, I am a cat person :-D :-D
