	That's great. I know they are such a nuisance to other birds, but it's so good to hear their call each year. I will go out into the back garden early tomorrow and listen for one here. They've fascinated me for some time. Amazing how their eggs differ according to the type of host bird. ...and how does a solitary young cuckoo know that it has to fly south at the end of summer? Do all the young ones in the area congregate and set off together.?
