When I upgraded online from Win 7 to Win 10 I had had no problem copying ang pasting, I did it often, then some weeks ago my WI-FI optical mouse ceased being capable of copying and pasting imaged, photos, but can still copy text.
I've tried all the advice available online to cure it, unsuccessfully. So I thought the
optical mouse was somehow broke. I bought a new wireless keyboard and mouse from Amazon. I still have the problem with the new one. Used the troubleshooter so many times, advised there is no problem !!
SO WHY WAS IT COPYING PHOTOS BEFORE THE PROBLEM ? :-S

Thanks all. Used the control c and V method. But I have used the other method for years until very recently. I assume this is a firefox update.

Bob that is what I was trying to do only with your left and right reversed as I used to do.

A few more shortcuts for you Ann, in case you don't Lready have them.

Ctrl and ]
To increase font size

Ctrl and [
To decrease font size

Ctrl and J
To justify (much neater, in my opinion)

Ctrl and L
For left align

Ctrl and R
For right align

Ctrl and E
To centre something

Ctrl and B
For bold letters

Ctrl and I
For italics

When I worked I had a list but that was many years ago. I have no idea what I did with the copy I made for home. :-S

Left click mouse at start of text, hold down click and highlight the appropriate text.
right click on highlighted, click copy in dropdown box

goto where you want to place the text, right click,

then click paste...

Did you mean to put left mouse control? On mine it is the right mouse control - if I click left the highlighting disappears!!!

Does highlighting and CtrlC and CtrlV work?

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 6 Mar 2020 15:13

I should say this is by highlighting and using left mouse control to copy.
