I will have to go one day! :-D

GR has (or at least used to have) lots of Original Parish records for Pembrokeshire so I had them that way, but not the Chapels. Plenty of Nolton records. Quite a few from Mathry Church but none from Rehoboth Chapel though! which was the family chapel for many years and where my Dad and other relatives are buried

Aberystwyth is good for some things but by no means everything :-0 ;-)

I found a lot of church/chapel records at Haverfordwest that are not any where else ;-)

When I went to Kent, the Newchurch Parish Church where my Gran got married (the first time) had all the Parish Records photocopied and on display. My second cousin H who lives in Dymchurch came with us and we were able to take photographs of loads of family documents

I will have to go to the Haverfordwest Register Office one day, although a relative told me that you have to go to Aberystwyth now?

Von

Von Report 5 Mar 2020 19:48

Good for marriages Jem as not all parishes have been digitised.

Von

Von Report 5 Mar 2020 19:47

Well you can search parish registers Jem which gives you a good idea of date and often addresses.
I did find one today and it was the address that made me realise it was one of mine but that was online :-D

Von

Von Report 5 Mar 2020 19:45
